📌 Using Adjectives in Korean
Korean adjectives are also called descriptive verbs (형용사) because they behave like verbs!
- They are conjugated like action verbs.
- You don’t need the verb “to be” separately.
- They end with polite endings like -아요 / -어요.

📘 Sentence Structure: Subject + Adjective
Just like verbs, Korean adjectives are conjugated and placed at the end of the sentence.
- 이 옷은 예뻐요. (i ot-eun ye-ppeo-yo) – This clothes are pretty.
- 그 집은 커요. (geu jip-eun keo-yo) – That house is big.
- 오늘 날씨가 추워요. (o-neul nal-ssi-ga chu-wo-yo) – The weather is cold today.
💡 Add subject particles 은/는 or 이/가 before the adjective to complete the sentence.
