Hello again, Korean explorer! 🏠

Today we’re going to describe the world around you your room, your home, your city all in Korean!

We’ll use the adjectives you learned in Day 15 and add location words to build full, natural sentences.


🏡 Common Places Around You

Korean Romanization Meaning

🔤 Useful Adjectives to Describe Places

  • 작아요 → ja-ga-yo → small
  • 커요 → keo-yo → big
  • 깨끗해요 → kkae-kkeut-hae-yo → clean
  • 시끄러워요 → shi-kkeu-reo-wo-yo → noisy
  • 조용해요 → jo-yong-hae-yo → quiet
  • 예뻐요 → ye-ppeo-yo → pretty
  • 좋아요 → jo-a-yo → good


🗣️ Sentence Structure

[Place]은/는 [Adjective]
= [Place] is [adjective]

💡 Example:

  • 제 방은 작아요 → je bang-eun ja-ga-yo → My room is small
  • 우리 도시는 조용해요 → u-ri do-shi-neun jo-yong-hae-yo → Our city is quiet

  • 제 방은 깨끗해요 → My room is clean
  • 방이 커요 → The room is big
  • 조명이 밝아요 → The light is bright
